Панмана Ашрам расположен в 18 км севернее города Коллам, в Керале. Панмана Ашрам - место махасамадхи известного керальского святого Шри Чаттамби Свамикал. Ашрама расположен в спокойном и тихом месте, окруженном пышными зелеными кокосовыми пальмами и рисовами полями. Простая и безмятежная атмосфера Ашрама сделала это место центром паломничества, привлекающим тысячи людей из разных частей Индии. Даже Махатма Ганди посетил это место и оставался там в течение двух дней, проводя время в молитвах и размышлениях. Сильно духовная и спокойная атмосфера Ашрама окажет глубокое воздействие на любого, кто посетит это место. Характерное для Ашрама изучение и исследование в области Вед, Пуран, Эпики, Бхагавад Гиты, Пуран проводится регулярно. Брахмачарьи и Саниясины размещаются в доме учителя и обучаются компетентными учителями. Замысел Свамиджи заботы о животных выполняется основанием центра заботы о животных в Ашраме. Аюрведический госпиталь и центр производства Аюрведических лекарств также были основаны в Ашраме. Приют для лишенных детей был открыт в Ашраме в 2007 году. |

The Ashram is located 18 km, north of Kollam city in Kerala. Panmana Ashram is a mahasamadhi place well-known Kerala's saint Shri Chattambi Svamikal. The locale of the Ashram is a placid and peaceful place surrounded by lush green coconut palms and paddy fields. The simple and serene atmosphere of the Ashram has made the place a pilgrim center attracting thousands of people from difference part of the India. Even Mahatma Gandhi visited this place and stayed there for two days spending time in the prayers and contemplation. The spiritually vibrant and tranquil atmosphere of the Ashram would make a deep impact on anyone who visits this place. Typical of an Ashram studies and research in the fields of Vedas, Upanishads, Epics, Bhagavad Gita, Puranas are being conducted regularly. Brahmacharians and Sanyasins are accommodated in house teaching and training are imparted competent teachers. Swamijis ambitions for caring animals is recently fulfilled by establishing an animals care center in the Ashram. An Ayurvedic Hospital and also an Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing center has also been established in the Ashram. An orphanage for destitute children will also be opened during 2007 year. |

Шри Чаттамби Свамикал Шри Чаттамби Свамикал, называемый Парамабхаттара Шри Видьядхираджа родился 25 Августа 1853 года в малоизвестной деревне около Тривандрума, в Керале. Он был тем, кто объявил первое социально-культурное возрождение на этой земле. Родившийся гением с несравненной интеллектуальной и творческой силой, он освоил основные принципы всех религий мира и обнаружил общую нить универсальной любви в них. Он объяснил ясными терминами с необычной сообразительностью значения и смысл слов мудрости, хранящихся в священных писаниях Индии. Хорошо сведущий во многих языках и искусствах, он объяснял их основную цель вдохновления эстетических потенциалов человеческого разума. Его любовь ко всем живым существам и желание религиозной гармонии иллюстрировались прожитой им жизнью. Он вошел в Махасамадхи 5 мая 1924 года в Панмане, около Коллама, Керала, Индия. |

Sree Chattambi Swamikal Sree Chattambi Swamikal reverantly called as Parama Bhattara Sree Vidyadhiraja was born on 25th August 1853 in an obscure village near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It was he who heralded the first Socio-Cultural Renaissance in the land of his birth. A born genius with unparalledled intellectual and creative power he mastered the basic tenets of all the religions of the world and discovered the common thread of universal love in them. He explaned in lucid terms and with unusual acumen the meanings and purport of the words of wisdom enshrined in the scriptures of India. Well versed in many languages and fine arts he explicated their ultimate aim of inspiring the aesthetic potentials of the human mind. His love towards all living beings and his yearning for religious harmony were exemplified by the way he lived his life. He attained Mahasamadhi on the 5th May of 1924 at Panmana, Near Kollam, Kerala, India. |
